This is an ongoing series of portraits with models wearing a white robe I have had for decades.
Across cultures and religions the color white has some fairly specific, and diverse, symbolism. It is my goal to capture honest moments affected by the robe. For some it evokes a Jedi vibe, for others Druidic, and for some mourning. How might the robe effect your posing or mood when worn? What affectations will you adapt while wearing it...? You’re age, shape, gender identity, orientation, race, and cultural background are important aspects of who you are as a human, yet none of them should make you feel excluded from this casting call. I am based out of Vallejo, CA and have several locations in my area (interior and exterior) that are great for photographin this series. I can also come to you if you are within an hour or two of me. This is an ongoing trade for images project, with reimbursement for travel and other expenses to be discussed. If you would like to sit in for this project, or have questions, please do not hesitate to reach out through my contact page to arrange a session.
